Resources

Following are several resources you may want to visit:

New Families New Futures, a nonprofit organization, dedicated to educating families going through divorce and separation. Visit the website, www.newfamiliesnewfuture.org, to watch several short videos explaining the professionals that may be involved in your case, the legal process, navigating the court process and parenting plans.

Talking Parents, www.talkingparents.com, and Our Family Wizard, www.ourfamilywizard.com, are just two of several services available to facilitate co-parent communication and help parents avoid disputes. Because a complete record of communications between the parents is kept, disputes that cannot be avoided should be easier to resolve with an accurate record.

Child-Centered Divorce Network has several articles for parents facing, moving through or transitioning after divorce or separation. Visit www.childcentereddivorce.com.

The Colorado Courts Self Help Center offers information and resources to assist you. This website will provide you with directions and the required forms in order to initiate your case. Follow this link: www.courts.state.co.us/Forms.
